Youth Employment Program Information

From CareerSource Polk,

The goal of the program is to provide valuable work experience to our community’s young people between the ages of 18 to 24 in an effort to assist them in enhancing their skills, work ethic, and leadership potential.

The Youth Employment Program is a CareerSource Polk initiative designed to assist out-of-school youth between the ages of 18 to 24. The program will assist youth with gaining meaningful work experience through host agencies throughout Polk County. Youth that are determined eligible will have the opportunity to work up to 10 weeks for up to 30 hours a week at $10 per hour.
