School Dress Code

dress-codeAll clothing must be of appropriate size, with waist of garment worn at student’s waist. Clothing that is too tight or too loose is not appropriate for school. School staff reserves the right to seize any article that is deemed inappropriate or distracting. All clothing must be worn properly (ie. no tucking of pant legs or banding shirt tails).

Tops
White, Navy, or Black with collar. Knit polo type, Oxford, woven dress shirts or blouses. Must have short or long sleeves. Solid color only, no stripes. School t-shirts are okay. All shirts must be worn tucked in. No banded shirts or tails.

Bottoms
Navy, Black, Khaki, or Tan slacks only! Pants must be plain, solid-color Twill or Corduroy fabric. No Jeans. Must wear belt. No tucking of pant legs. No sweatpants. NO JEANS.

Belt
A belt is required at all times. Clothes must be of appropriate size, with waist of garment worn at student’s waist.

Socks
Socks reaching to the ankle must be worn at all times.

Shoes
Sneakers or casual dress shoes are required. The following are not permitted: open-toed shoes, sandals, high-heels, pumps, roller sneakers, nor slippers.

Jackets
Any kind of jacket/coat/cardigan is okay if it meets regular dress code rules. May not be disruptive, distracting, display offensive language or symbols, etc.

Jewelry
Watches and earrings only. No piercing is allowed in the tongue, navel, nose, lip, and eyebrow, etc…

Other Apparel
Hats, sunglasses, bandannas, flags, torn or frayed clothing, and any other distracting apparel is not permitted. If it is questionable, please DO NOT WEAR IT.
